Black and color cartridges


  1. Protect work surface with newspaper or paper towels.
  2. Peel label back.
  3. Using safety drill bit (included in kit) screw into recessed area under label until it fully penetrates the cartridge.
  4. Assemble syringe and fill with ink.
  5. Slowly inject up to 10 ml of ink or until full.
  6. Seal hole with tape seals.
  7. Replace cartridge and run several cleaning cycles per printer instructions.
  8. Clean syringe with water and dry before using with another color.

The cartridge will leak if the holes are not sealed completely.
Brother IN-710C, LC11CL, IN-700, LC11BK

Protect work area with newspaper or paper towels.

Color Cartridges:

  1. Filler holes are located under the top. Remove top by prying off with thin blade, being carefulnot to damage sensors on back of cartridge. (see Removing Head From Cartridge video)
  2. Assemble syringe and fill with desired color of ink.
  3. Insert needle into hole of color to be refilled (see diagram) and all the way into cartridge.
  4. Slowly inject up to 8 ml of ink until ink just starts to surface.
  5. Refit top and seal with adhesive tape.
  6. Clean syringe with water and dry beforeusing with another color.

Black Cartridges:

  1. Enlarge filling hole on the top of the cartridge using safety drill bit included in kit (do not remove top).
  2. Assemble and fill syringe with ink.
  3. Insert needed into hole and push all the way in.
  4. Slowly inject up to 20 ml of ink until full.
  5. Clean syringe with water and dry before using with another color.
Brother LC02BK, LC02C, LC02M, LC02Y, LC04BK, LC04M, LC04C, LC04Y


Black & color cartridges

  1. Protect work surface with newspaper or paper towels.

  2. Remove the cover from the cartridge by using a small flat screwdriver to pry off the clip that holds the cover to a cartridge.
  3. Remove the silver seal that covers the fill hole using your fingernail.

  4. Enlarge the fill hole using the safety drill bit found in your SharpJet Kit.
  5. Fill the Injector Syringe with the proper ink color and fill the cartridge chamber. Do not fill more than 7 ml of ink during any given refill.
  6. Seal hole with one of the round seals included in your SharpJet Kit.

  7. Replace the cover onto the cartridge by snapping it into place.
  8. Replace the cartridge back into your printer and remember to run the cleaning cycles recommended by the printer manufacturer.
