Protect work area with newspaper or paper towels.

Color Cartridges:

  1. Filler holes are located under cap. Remove cap by pulling off, being careful not to damage sensors on back of cartridge.
  2. Assemble syringe and fill with desired color ink.
  3. Insert needle into hole of color to be refilled an push all the way in.
  4. Slowly inject up to 8 ml ink until sponge is saturated. To avoid overfilling and prevent leaking, withdraw 1 ml ink and refilling.
  5. Replace cap. 6. Clean syringe with water and dry before using with another color.

Black Cartridges:

  1. Remove cartridge from holder by prying locking tab back and sliding cartridge out, being careful not to touch any parts in cartridge holder.
  2. Remove plug from filling hole with flat blade (do not remove top).
  3. Assemble and fill syringe with ink.
  4. Insert needle into hole and push 3/4 of the way in.
  5. Slowly inject up to 15 ml of ink until full, being careful not to drip ink from outlet port.
  6. Return cartridge to holder and reinstall into printer.
  7. Clean syringe with water and dry before using with another color.
