Black Cartridge

1. Protect work surface with newspaper or paper towels.
2. Remove ink cartridge from printer according to printer manufacturer’s instructions.
3. Using drill tool provided, drill the hole using a clockwise twisting motion. Withdraw drill tool. Holding the print cartridge vertically, insert syringe into vent hole as far as it will go.
   
   
4. Fill syringe with 10 mls. of ink.
5. Gently push the plunger in to inject the ink. Continue dispensing ink until the entire syringe is emptied, or until a droplet of ink appears at the fill hole indicating that the cartridge is full.
6. Repeat process with another 10 mls. of black ink.
7. Remove syringe. Blot up any residual ink around air vent with a tissue. Allow a few minutes for the ink to re-wet the print head.
8. Reinstall the cartridge into the printer and perform the print head cleaning procedure, following the instructions outlined in your printer instruction booklet.
9. Wash syringe with warm water before refilling with another color.

Color Cartridges:

1. Protect work surface with newspaper or paper towels.
2. Filler holes are located under the top. Remove top carefully by prying off with thin blade, being careful not to damage sensors on back of cartridge. (Please see the "Removing the Head from the Cartridge" video.)
   
   
3. Assemble syringe and fill needed with desired color of ink.
4. Insert needle into hole of color to be refilled and push all the way into cartridge.
5. Slowly inject up to 8 ml of ink until sponge is saturated and ink begins to surface.
6. Refit top and attach with adhesive tape. Clean syringe with water and dry before using with another color.

Black Cartridge

1. Drill a hole with tool provided on the front of cartridge 1/2 from top.
2. Assemble syringe and fill needle with ink.
3. Insert needle through the hole and push into center of cartridge. Stop when needle touches the felt insert.
   
   
4. Slowly inject up to 40 ml of ink until it appears at the top of hole.
5. Seal hole with round seal provided in kit.
6. Install cartridge and run cycle per printer instructions.
7. Clean syringe with water and dry before using with another color.
